I am currently a junior researcher at the Data Mining and User Modeling group at Telefónica Research.
Before coming to Telefónica Research I was a post-doctoral associate at Brown University (Brown Optimization Laboratory), and a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where I received a Ph.D. in Computer and Telecommunication Engineering in 2007.
I have published about 20 papers in Information Theory, Evolutionary Computation, Combinatorial Optimization and Computational Molecular Biology.
